Bodol language

I recently stumbled upon a very nice video showing Bodil Stokke talking about her development of the Lisp-like language Bodol, using Clojure. I really like the features that she is incorporating into that language. To a great extent, these are also the features that I would like to have in my language of choice 🙂 .

One day, when I have brought that LLVM Common Lisp frontend into a shape that renders it usable somehow 😉 , I will put pattern matching, monads and all that stuff into it as well.

However, I imagine to have a superset of CL in the end, so the language stays compatible with CL and you are still free to make use of all the CL code & libraries that are floating around out there 😉 .
